Armed with a B.A. in strategic communications from Texas Christian University, he left his Springfield, Missouri, roots – and a family steeped in legal tradition – to carve out his own path in North Texas. In 2019, he earned his J.D. from the University of North Texas at Dallas.

Mr. Thornhill’s first brush with litigation came as a judicial intern for Judge Bonnie Lee Goldstein and Judge Ken Tapscott in Dallas, where he polished his research and courtroom skills. He then sharpened his practice as a law clerk and associate attorney at a busy Dallas firm, juggling civil disputes and family-law heartaches.
